Fireshare Filtering Issue

There seems to be an issue when filtering on cut-ready projects on Fireshare. You can view the first page of cut-ready projects and then when you click on the next page it will remove the filter and show all projects again. I haven’t done any other testing to see what other filters/combinations may have the same error.

That is not a flaw. That is by design so that you will be desiring to learn the CAM operation with Fusion or SheetCAM. Then you creative energy will flow with gusto!

Not really. I don’t know why it does that. But if you pick one of the other non-cut ready designs, one of us would be happy to show you the steps. You might start thinking of which program you are inclined to want to learn so that you could see the process with ‘that’ program. I only do Fusion.

Also you will want to say what cutter and/or speed you need the cut. And if you are using standard or fine-cut consumables. You may not know your kerf width but that could be crucial if it has lots of fine detail.

Welcome to the forum.

Hah, thanks Jim.

I know Fusion 360 alright from a few years of 3d printing and have been learning Inkscape recently as well.

I’m waiting on a new computer in the mail and will keep my old crappy laptop on the machine with Fire Control. I didn’t want to buy sheet cam yet because I don’t think the license will transfer to the new PC.

That’s why I’m just goofing around with ready-cut files right now.

Understood. It is great that you are studying up on this stuff.

I didn’t buy SheetCAM because I spend an additional $900 for a machine torch that I had not expected to need. At that point the additional $150 for SheetCAM was just more money down a dark hole where I was yet to have cut some metal. I was beginning to panic at that point.

After learning more of Fusion 360 from various YouTube videos and TinWhisperers videos, I finally got the hang of the Manufacturing space in Fusion.

The folks at Sheetcam are quite cooperative and will allow you to MOVE the SW to another PC. All it takes is an email or a PM to @LesNewell .
