ok so I am new to fusion 360. I am used to Lincoln torchmate cad ( which I am sorry but is a million times easier and smoother to operate). My problem though is taking these very nicely drawn objects from fireshare and resizing and making them my own. I cannot seem to get these things to edit. I wish there was some vid that showed this specifically. If there is please let me know. Any tips and tricks would be much appreciated.
by the way I really like the ar-15 us flag map which when I download says it almost 700 inches long……
Sure its not reading it as metric?
Unless the file is actually metric and I am setting it to inches?
When you open the image draw a construction line from side to side . Then stop sketch. Measure the line then click modify then scale…the box that comes up should have uniform at the bottom. Click arrow left of sketch then highlight the sketch that comes down. Picture should turn black and gray. If so click it then type the size you want/ the measurement from before then enter…might be a better way but it works for me.
So the only image I am having trouble with is the at-15 flag map???
When I opened the original in my CAD program the map is 54" long. I just scaled it to 23.29" and posted the remix to Fireshare. I have been using Sheetcam and it imports into that program at the correct 23.29". Download the remix and give it a try.
Thankyou! If you don’t mind what is sheetcam?
it is a CAM program that is sooooo much easier than Fusion. https://www.sheetcam.com/
