Firepit Project

I started this project at the end of November. A friend from Jamaica called me and asked for help for others. Hurricane Melissa destroyed the island. 400 hours worth of design, fab and fundraising came to an end today.

I ended up raising over $23,000 for relief efforts along with Amazon wishlist items and private clothing and supply donations. Couldn’t be more proud of how this project went. Next week I travel there to go on vacation and one of the days we are visiting with my friend and the folks we are helping.

Say what you will about Langmuir. I started this 6 years ago with the Pro and it changed my life. Now it’s changing others.

I really like that you put breather holes for O2 induction around the bottom perimeter. Something so many big named firepit makers neglect and it starves a fire of O2 and makes a lot of smoke as a byproduct (if you can get the thing to stay ablaze). Well done.
