Fire control says no feed speed (SOLVED)

Got ya. You can post codes so we can look at for you. some reason I wonder if some how it may be missing. My thinking is if it was a voltage lose it would stop completely.

This is the code for the file I am having trouble with.

No retract?

What I just seen what is your safety clearance

I’m thinking this might be my screw up…
I need to get back to a real computer.

No way!!!:rofl::rofl::rofl:

Hard to work with unfamiliar stuff sometimes.

Safety clearance?

What’s the file name of that g code you posted I’m trying to look it up

Safety clearance is setting telling z axis to raise to a set specific position before moving. G codes showed 0 which was touching metal.

knick test 6

knick test holes aug 29 22 with retract and small lead out v1.f3d (130.6 KB)
knick test hole aug 29 22 with retract and small lead out.nc (1.2 KB)

I started and new fusion file from scratch and it seem to be good now . I am not sure how the retract was omitted ? it must have been when we were toying with the idea of it retracting enough to go over the leg of the channel.

here is a the revised code and f3d

Thank you I will give this a try

That did it worked like it should. Top side dross was near perfect bottom side had more than I would like and did not chip off easily. Now I need to try some different settings.

Thanks guys

That’s good to hear you’ll have to experiment with the razor weld settings. Try 5 in per minute faster and see how that affects the cut.
Also with it being painted on the back side it will ball more so than clean material.

I did remove paint and that did not seem to make much difference.
I will add 5 IPM to speed. So in fire control that would be roughly +20%?

21ipm @ 20% = 4.2ipm so 25.2ipm total

yes that seems good to start
