Fan inside power supply

So today I noticed the fan on my control box starting to make noise.

I took it down and opened it up.

Took the power supply apart and cleaned the internals and found the fan starting to have a grinding noise.

What is interesting is the cooling fan is a DC14v 0.1A unit…not very common to see them…at least I have not.

It is actually harder to find a replacement…

So can I replace it with something else?..or should I replace the complete power supply?

What would you suggest and what and where can I get them?

Amazon. MEAN WELL MW LRS-350-36 36V 9.7A 350W Single Output Switching Power Supply Amazon.com.
Direct replacement.

UPDATE

found this for a replacement power supply…
but why replace the whole thing if I only need a fan…

That one will work also. Be mindful that a larger amp version will not fit in the enclosure without mods.
I am assuming you still have your Crossfire Pro.

As you know that sucker just fits in that box without interference of the isolated mounting bolt inside.

It operates off a thermal switch. Easier to do with a DC Fan… You could probably find a replacement and it would cost about 80% of a new power supply. You can use the old power supply to help fill in a ravine or something…

I’m with you. I would probably buy a new one to get back online quickly, but also get a replacement fan so I could have a backup. I was JK on the landfill

Hi there men. I am glad to find information on my power supply fan motor. There is good information mentioned here, You say the fan is operated on a thermal switch.
does that mean in cooler weather in my shop the fan may start for a minute and then slow down and turn off until later when it warms up and will turn back on?
I ask because my control box fan is turning off shortly after I turn on my MR-1. Later I can hear it running fast and quiet again. Is this normal? The shop is about 65 degrees lately in the morning. Other people may need to know this may happen . Thank for your knowledge.
