F360 latest update won't cut inner circle fully

Have any of you run into this issue?
My hole in my bracket (bolt hole) only gets a tool path for 2/3 of it then it moves on to the rest of the part and cut that fine.
I’ve tried 2 parts and even designed two circles to see if it’s a design issue or a software issue. Sure enough, CAM only generates 2/3 of the inner circle path, yet gives me 100% for the outter circle

I’ve also deleted the outer circle from sketch and tried to cut just the inner circle and it does the same thing again

Solution:
After talking it over with the F360 guys, the problem is “Smoothing”. If turned on it creates problems and they are working on a new release for this week.
They also suggested to extrude the part (sheet metal or reg extrusion) as they believe sometime the CAM software has a hard time going off a sketch.

There is something seriously wrong with F360 latest update…

It wants a 0.1" lead in to generate the tool path on a 1" circle (wow). Anything more and it generates 1/2 to 2/3 of the path
Once I get both circles to generate tool path, the torch will not fire on the inner circle (based on the “preview/play mode”) and only fires on the outer circle (tested this on another model and same thing)
One more thing: smoothing will create 2/3 of a tool path as well and ALSO if you select keep nozzle down then it will generate 2/3 of a tool path on the same circle…

Have you reported it to their Support so they can get it fixed?

I’ve posted on the forum there under CAM
Evidently their latest Rev, if you do CNC 4 axis will sent the tool through the part itself if you turn on “smoothing”…couple guys have reported thousands worth of tool/fixture damage due to this…yikes!

Yikes is right. Surprised they haven’t issued an alert or pulled the update back.

I just ran in to this myself today where the parts would not fully cut out so I had to take the torch out of the mount to finish the cut without havung to throw things away.

Maybe @langmuir-daniel can chime on in this issue.

After experimenting what I’m finding is that you have to turn off Soothing (absolute) and sometime, regardless of the size, lead-in has to be at 0.1 and anything larger may not generate the path correctly.
Secondly, even with a fully generated path, when you use the play function to check the path, the torch will not fire for the very first cut line, then when it move to the next cut line, it will fire.
Interestingly enough, the M3 comment is in the gcode for that very first cut line that doesn’t fire on the software (haven’t tested on the table).

Link to the thread I started in F360 forum, please add your finding there too

can you post your Gcode?

I had a similar issue earlier today and just deleted the tooling and setups in manufacture, started over and made sure to select the black line(extruded one) and didn’t have an issue after. not sure that is much help though
