Everlast PowerPro 205s

This is a TIG/Stick/Plasma machine. I had a “parts” IPT60 torch and cable, so I took the trigger wire out of that so it would plug right into the front of the machine. This is nice so 1) I don’t need to cut any wires internal to the machine and 2) I can easily return back to a hand held torch if needed.

The pictures should be self explanatory… but any questions let me know.

Good afternoon does the wire orientation matter?

It doesn’t sir. The LS control box is providing a dry contact, much like the trigger on the torch already.

I should note that I asked Everlast for some IPM guidance with this machine and they told me DO NOT USE ON A CNC MACHINE IT WILL VOID YOUR WARRANTY!!! So naturally I’ve been using it on the CNC machine and it’s been working pretty well. Just gotta keep an eye on the duty cycle.

I have the Power Ultra 205p and it has a cnc pinned socket. Is there a way to just wire to that connector? Thanks

So i have the PowerUltra 206pi simliar to yours, how did you figure your cut rates and are you keeping everything at 30amp to avoid the duty cycle?
Not ready to purchase a new plasma yet, but most likely will later this year.
