Everlast 62i with PTM-60 swirl ring

I’m still somewhat new to everything, but does the PTM-60 cnc torch have a swirl ring? I’ve seen lots of pictures of others having their cap and nozzle removed and it looks to me like it’s just the electrode threaded into the plunger

It has a swirl ring, but it’s much smaller than the Hypertherm style. They also tend to fall off when you remove the cap. It is also directional and you can put it in upside down.

Almost all non-HF plasma cutters have a swirl ring. Yes your PTM60 has one.

Yes.

Undo the retaining cap and you’ll see it (brown plastic with holes) as it’s faster to disassemble your own.
