Everlast 62i cnc not firing ( SOLVED )

I have been using my Easy scribe for the last month. Went to cut today and torch not firing. I have a Everlast 62i CNC. Have it wired to raw voltage, ground clamp on material. Air pressure 76 going in to plasma cutting. It has 73psi when air is going through plasma cutter. I hit torch fire, can hear relay kicking in and air start flowing. The torch light will light up on fire control, put 2 sets of new consumables in and still the same. I have tried everything I can think of, I’m out of ideas.

Thanks

Make sure the electrode can move up and snap back inside the torch.

The electrode moves freely up and down. I have it clamped on the barrel part.

Have you confirmed that the torch plug in the control box is engaged in the port? Can you jump out the torch plug with a paperclip or something like that to see if the plasma cutter will fire?

I jumped the 2 pins, I heard the relay clicking and the air started flowing but no fire

Do you have another torch to hook up. Maybe a hand torch? Have you checked the pins on the euro connector?

I just have the machine torch that came with the Plasma cutter.

What do you mean pins on Euro connector?

Maybe give George a email @mechanic416
He may walk you through some trouble shooting.

Thanks

The end of the torch that screws into the cutter is called a Euro connector
Twist it and pull it off and check out the connections. Should be 4 pins two are not used and two go to the pilot arc.

I took it apart and everything look good in there. Nothing was loose that I can see or feel. Put back together and still no fire. I sent George an e mail.

I’m not familiar with installing the EZ scriber on that torch. Did you have to remove the swirl ring? Maybe you forgot to re install it?

I had to remove swirl ring, electrode and shield to install easy scribe. I put everything back in to cut. I have put 2 sets of new consumables in.

I never turned plasma on when I was using the scribe.

Dumb question? Did you check the fuse in-between the torch and work connection.

Yes I did check it and it was good.

Hopefully George can help. Sorry Amos.

It’s all good. I do appreciate the help

Lots of responses so I might be echoing something here.

Manual firing of the machine doesn’t work?

Switching torches (if available) do anything?

Consumables were verified as working IE correctly installed, undamaged, torch head prongs sticking up making contact with the retaining cap, electrode springs back when pushed in?

Talked to @AngryBearedGuy / Amos on the phone and got him taken care of.
