Everlast 102i to plasmadyn torch

Hi all, I did a quick search and did not find an answer yet to this question. I have a Everlast 102i just bought a plasma dyn torch. When I hook it up the pilot arc fires but does not switch to working amps. Stays at 23amps. I put old torch on and 70 amps right away. Can someone help me with the pin diagram. The pins look the same but I know they must be different because the old torch still switches to working amperage. Thanks!

Sounds like a plasmadyn issue. What did they tell you?

Oh I just hooked it up. I was hoping George had a quick answer lol.

It sounded like plasmadyn sold you a torch that doesn’t work properly.

All Everlast plasma read 23 amps at the pilot firing. I am not a fan of Plasmadyn. Make sure your air pressure is over 70 psi. Make sure the electrode moves up and down inside the torch.https://youtu.be/2hyaNRC3tv8?si=QAWLpKQCljdy103C

What is your air pressure? It needs to be above 70 psi. I realize it sounds simple. Raise your pressure and try it. Also, does the electrode move?

Also, is your machine set to CNC and auto restart? If you look at the euro end on the torch, the airflow passage is much smaller. Without the proper air pressure, the pilot arc won’t fire.
