I got an error during manual jogging and machine stopped itself. I reset the error and tried homing the ram but realized Left hydraulic ram seems stopped working and only right side was going up.
Decided to open the machine and left servo controller LED display shows “Err 1” on screen. Decided to shutdown the whole machine and turned on again. It seems it resolved the issue and homed successfully.
Interesting. I’ve never seen someone trigger an Err 1 before. Maybe try slowing down your bend/jog speed slightly, and check for leaks around the hardlines
I was actually doing manual jogging in very slow speed.
There were no visible leaks I can see. I did bleeding just in case.
For now, everything seems normal.
Does too much heat might locked the driver somehow? When I opened the cover electronics bay was pretty hot.
Also any news from a software update? I am really looking for some enhancements on UI, especially larger button sizes, better saved bend management (folders and subfolders maybe in a tree view?), easier foot pedal operation and most importantly metric unit implementation.
Interesting. I don’t know what may have triggered that since I haven’t seen it happen before. I’ll keep it in mind going forwards.
No software update news for Bendcontrol at the moment. The latest software update news is for our MR1 milling machine - Cutcontrol got a pretty big beta patch last week.
