Has anyone used the Eastwood CONTOUR SCT® - Surface Conditioning Tool for removing dross and prepping the surface of a plasma cut sign for paint? I’m wondering if this would work well.

I own two contours sct.
I only use them typically for resurfacing 4# stainless.
I know they offer a whole bunch of different drums. Maybe one would work for dross.
I have the generic version. If you get a wire wheel, maybe. With the abrasives, “Danger Will Robinson.” It’ll grab on just about any detail not in line with the wheel’s rotation and throw the work right at your crotch. I only tried it once, so YMMV.

I have one of these… love it!
it is great for the surface conditioning (as advertised) but is not great when you encounter sharp edges… i suspect dross will quickly destroy your drum. You can try the wire drum for sure and see how it goes.
Once i get my CrossFire Pro up ill be doing more sign work so ill have more to report later.
