Drag tips or standoff tips?

Hello I’m confused what is every one using on their torch for cnc cutting drag tips or standoff tips? Please help.
I have the thermal dynamics cutmaster42.

Normally standard tips, the drag tips are for using by hand.

I have a cut master 60i and use stand-off tips but I have used drag tips while waiting on order to show up. I didn’t notice any difference. I also recommend the sl100sv automated torch if it fits your machine.

Drag tips have the spacing required from the tip to the material built into the extensions so you can drag the tip on the material in hand cutting mode and keep the required spacing. If you use a drag tip on your cnc table and use the spacer to set your height you have now doubled the desired spacing. It does work but the spacing is not correct. I used a drag tip for several months before I realized the difference.
