Dog Silhouette Vector

This is what I enjoy doing. Coworkers dog died and she sent me this picture.

I traced it (didn’t use Inkscape Tracing just did it by hand) into an svg.

Going to make some stickers but also cut it out on the plasma when I’m up and running!

Nice! That’s a great start. Next add your accent lines. In the ear, nostrils, chest, legs. Highlite the muscle lines. A few more inside lines and it will be perfect.

Negative space can be a powerful tool next to the metal.

Nice, you’re good at this!

I’m going to take a stab at adding more to it. I had started with some of the color markings of the Doberman but I wasn’t liking how it was turning out so I just stopped with the line defining the muzzle.

Feedback on this? Just trying out some lines.

That does make all the difference in the world.

I’m not loving the eyebrows and chest markings

The chin looks MUCH better. Very bold looking. Nicely progressing!

what software are you using for that?

I use affinity designer. It’s capabilities are far beyond what I can do, but I really like its interface and it’s much smoother than Inkscape. It runs great on Mac.

Looks super. Nicely done. It will always look better when cut out and finished then in the computer view.
Throw a small line inside his standing ear and a couple in a leg or two.
You are doing great!
