Does Sheetcam Transfer All Cut Parameters?

So Fusion 360 doesn’t actually transfer all of the cut parameters except for speed from the selected tool in the library.

From what I’ve been able to read about Sheetcam, it seems that it will actually transfer pierce height, cut height and all other parameters if we create a tool from the cut charts for a particular metal and thickness.

Yes. The parameters that you set in the tool are what is used in the operation. You can modify some of them in the Jet Cutting operation screen(cut speed, lead in/lead out), but the settings in your tool are what is automatically transferred into the cutting operation.

Once you set the parameters for a tool, you only have to select that tool when you create the jet cutting operation. You don’t have to input those parameters anywhere else.

Thanks. I think I’m going to switch to SolidWorks/Sheetcam workflow. I’ve been surprised when I was in a hurry and Fusion posted with the wrong/last used parameters. The three second pierce on 14 gauge was kind of noticeable (previous cut was 3/4”).
