Does anybody know the Hex size for adjusting the Z axis rail/rollers? it is not 5mm

Does anybody know the Hex size for adjusting the Z axis rail/rollers? it is not 5mm like the assembly manual says (at least on mine). I was not able to even get my 5 mm hex into the socket in the Z axis to adjust the rollers on the guide rails since mine would grab/jump when going down. Reserching the problem, data was the roller are to tight on the rails (brand new machine here, and I did lubricate both the lead screws, guide rails & rollers with light wt. oil). The assembly manual says one set of the rollers are on ecentric cams that you turn to tighten or loosen how hard the rollers push against the guide rods. So, I cut off part of my 5mm hex/allen wrench to be able to fit within the zaxis carrage. But……….. it just wiggle around and would NOT grab the hex. So, would anybody know the actual allen/hex size? I don’t want to cut another one, and it not fit eigther……

Picture? Would be a lot faster and direct.

It’s not a hex. The bearings that the X axis carriage rides on have hex set screws for adjustment.

The bolts on the right side of the Z axis rollers have flats on 2 sides. Hold the flats with a wrench and loosen the nut. Rotate the eccentric bolt with the flats, until you have it adjusted properly, and then tighten the nut again.

David, Thank You! I have old eyes, and saw the SHCS on the “Left Side” of the Z, I now see the flats on the other side and that is the adjustment I was looking for………. totally did not see those flats…
