Does a native font exist that includes tabs?

Is there a font within F360, or one that can be imported, that can be used to layout text on a design that included the necessary tabs for maintaining the interior pieces of the letters?

I found some .rar files of characters that folks have created for Solidworks but I can’t find anything for F360.

Look for a stencil font. Dafont has some but Google will lead you to plenty of them.

I’m familiar with stencil fonts but I am not aware of a way to import new fonts into F360. Even among the fonts native to F360, only certain ones can be used as shapes within the design environment.

If you know how to get one into Fusion that is functional in the design/CAM workspaces please let me know. That would be a huge time saver.

I haven’t tried it myself, but F360 CAM provides the ability to add tabs to parts. The tabs are meant to be broken off later, but i suspect that the tab functionality could alternatively be used to create the connections in text. It would likely be faster than drawing them manually. Again, this is speculation since I haven’t tried it myself.

If you’re using Windows you should be able to use any font on your machine. Lars has a decent enough YT video (https://youtu.be/Kj-xA_Gml3I?t=2m25s) if you want to watch it. He copies fonts into his font folder but you can usually just right click and hit Install and it’ll copy them over to the right folder.
