Divots in every cut

I know this is an old thread, and I may be WAY off base because I am a hobbyist, just starting off in milling wood…..

I am posting in case any other newbs run into the divot issue.

I was having a VERY similar issue milling contours. Again, single divot at the lead in / out or a double divot if I changed the angles.

I found 2 sections in fusion 360 that resolved these…

Either settings change appears to work independently.

Again, being new, and working in wood, I cannot say if this will work for others, but it did for me.

(hope you can see these, I was only allowed to post one image)

Welcome to the forum!

I am not familiar with the issues related to milling, so I will just take your word for it. Your input is valid since the title did not define the problem to plasma cutting. (The initial post was clear that it pertained to plasma cutting issues.)

Definitely there a different reasons for divots based on materials and tools that are being used. I look forward to further contributions from you.
