Did Mach3 Move a Layer?

Hi
I cut something with a hole in it. The hole isn’t where it’s supposed to be.

I designed in Solidworks, CAM in sheetcam, then cut with Mach3 on a gen 1 crossfire.

Odd issue - could this happen after hitting regen toolpath in M3, or is there some inadvertent user error somewhere? I’d like to know so I can avoid this in the future.

Mach3 doesn’t know about ‘layers’. It goes where you tell it to. Look upstream at SheetCam settings or your export from Solidworks.

Without any data (drawings, screencaps, G-Code files) from you, that’s about all we can provide.

Thanks, I’ll take another look at the files. The dxf looked right, and the sheetcam job looked right, so I assume it is mach3, which now seems unlikely.
