In your import/ export settings set the SVG export to 72 DPI.

And if you do end up with wrong size sketches in fusion you can use the resize from first dimension option.

Re scaling files

Like most things it depends. My preference is to have the file completely ready to cut by the time it leaves Fusion. It sounds more like a location problem on the material you’re cutting. You need to make sure you reset your work origin so you have enough cutting Room. Some of this problem could be because of some files being made in metric and some files being made in inches.
