Cutting Aluminum

Hey Guys,

What is the best way to cut aluminum on the cross fire. Been cutting a lot of steel and got it tuned in great. But aluminum is another story the edge always comes out bad. I am running a EVERLAST Plasma cutter. Aluminum is 0.1450" Thick. Feed Rate 50IPM Power 28AMPS Air Pressure around 66psi (On Dry Compressed Air). Also Tip is new in torch. Should I be using different gas??

Also the Tip Nozzle is 1.0mm

Aluminum is harder to cut then steel. And why are you using a 50 amp 1.0mm tip at 28 amp when you should be using a 0.8mm 30 amp tip
