Aww I see what your saying. No I haven’t zeroed on the material. I just home the machine.
That’s OK. If you don’t want to zero on the sheet just make sure the origin in your material setup is set to upper left. You can check if the positioning is right fairly easily. At the bottom of the main SheetCam window it shows the current cursor position. Point at a reference point on your sheet (say top left) and check if the coordinates correspond to that point on your machine.
I personally prefer to zero on the bottom left of the sheet. I find it easier, especially when using odd shaped offcuts. In that case the origin in material setup would be bottom left.
It does not matter where you set you 0,0 position on the machine as long as you set your material 0,0 in SheetCam to suit.
