Cut geometry not there

Looking for opinions here and curious if anyone else has experienced this and fixed it. My cut edges are never perpendicular to the top/bottom faces of the plate. They are always angled slightly towards the plasma jet at the bottom, so obviously not an issue with gantry/torch alignment.

I have only been cutting 3/16 mild steel and using settings right from the Hypertherm Operator Manual except for pierce delay.

Eq: CF Pro/HT 45XP machine torch with new consumables. Air 90 psi at cutter coming from a refrigerated dryer. Cut height is .06 in. and using 1 s pierce delay.

3 to 5 degrees of taper angle per side is normal for air plasma. What angle are you measuring?

Thank you for the info. I checked one of my pieces and it looks like 4 degrees.
