Crossfire pro not moving

So I have everything connected and opened firecontrol 20.6.2 with the thc[v1.10] and crossfire[v1.2ls] but nothing moves I do have torque on all motors except on one y axes when I turn on the the box the torch fires off then shuts off I tried the manual torch and nothing happens I try loading the break in program and it just says validating program… I also took the box off the leg just to make sure it’s not touching with the table and I don’t have continuity from the table to the usb 2.0 cord provided what else can I do to make this thing work PLEASE HELP!!!

Welcome to the forum…we will do what we can to help you

forget about the torch for now…let us get the table moving first…

when you open FC do you have the display at the top indicating you have connection to the table…are the buttons orange?

Yes it show it’s connected but they are green both the crossfire pro and the thc

then try this…

loosen the couplers between the motors and the drive screws…allow them to spin freely…
now try and run the break in program without a torch…just letting the motors try and run…

do they work?

Loosen the couplers plugged in the usb to the computer opened the fc then turn on the box… tried to run the CrossFire+Pro-Breakln-v1.6 and it just says Validating program. Please wait… and no movement from the motors

will it move using the arrow keys without trying to run the break-in program?

Nope … no movement al all …tried using the mouse and the arrows on the keyboard

post a pic of firecontrol and the internals of the control box with table on and connected.

Did you screw in all 4 of the motor connectors to the control box? if so, remove them then reseat them all but don’t screw them back in. Just press fit them in for now and try to move the motors.

also, are you running windows or macOS?

Removed connectors… reinstalled with out the screws and nothing still not moving …. I’m using windows 10

Do your motors have holding torque?
Is your FireControl DRO (xyz location) updating as you move?
Is THC fully connected? Do you see a Live Voltage and the torch speed indicator update as you jog? What is the status indicator on FireControl say (beneath gcode viewer, should say Idle)?
Can you re-flash your firmware (via Help Menu)?

Yes I do have torque on the motors…
I don’t have any movement on the motors and the (xyz) are at 0.000…. Even when I try to move the arrows the zeros won’t move
I can see a live 8.3v but hasn’t moved from there and no speed indicator because it doesn’t move…
the status says hold:0 inside an orange box …
Finally I refresh or update machine firmware from the help option and still no movement (then after the refresh update the status says Alarm in a red box)

Come on guys a little help here this thing hasn’t made 1 cent it’s been like this since April… I need help to get it started what else can I do…any option is worth a shot

Have you tried un-installing and re-installing Firecontrol on your computer? The fact that it won’t load the break in program, indicates that there may be something corrupted with your Firecontrol install.

Yes I have multiple times but what I haven’t done is restoring my computer to the factory settings…. I might do that then reinstall firecontrol and fusion 360

we are trying to help you…even Langmuir moderator has stepped in…

what type of plasma cutter do you have?

at this point it doesn’t really matter what cutter he has because he can’t even get the motors to turn on the table… he needs to fix that issue first before anything else.

do you have another computer you can try?

I have the titanium 45 and this computer I just bought maybe a month ago… I just rebooted the computer to the original state then downloaded FireControl and nothing moved it does show the machine connected and thc control connected but nothing moves…… so I got my daughters laptop downloaded FireControl and still nothings moves and on this one it’s says the machine is connected and the thc is not connected when I try to put in the break in program it just says validating program. Please wait …. And never loaded anything
