I am having trouble running the set up
program. machine crashes against
the x stop, hard stop then errors out.
tried resetting defaults still no.
can anyone help? thanks.

Just remember, generally speaking the table (or Firecontrol) doesn’t know where your torch is on the table. You have to “zero” it in order to say it’s “here” in relation to the direction you wish to move/cut.
Some people rely on limit switches for this as it zeros to a corner of the table, but that’s an option for some tables and only comes standard on the XR. I personally never bothered with limit switches as the table is too small to need them.
Anyway, if you can share specifics about your issue maybe we can help. Could be something super simple.

The break-in program simply starts at the bottom left and moves diagonally to the top right. That being the case you need to do as @Kwikfab said and zero your machine at the bottom left or it will crash. As KF said the machine just follows the path you send it on. It doesn’t know where its limits are or where you are when you start. You have to make sure the path you send it on fits inside the table envelope. Have you watched all the Langmuir tutorial videos yet. If not I recommend you start there.
