Did I read that correct… the crossfire running hyoertherm powermax 45 ONLY work when using the machine torch and not the hand torch… via the cnc port in plasma cutter?
Nope it doesn’t have to be wired through the cpc it can be wired in the torch or inside the box and hand torch used.

It’s a Hypertherm thing. The hand torch cannot be used if the CPC port is plugged in. The only torch that works using the CPC port is a machine torch.
If you don’t have a machine torch, you’ll have to splice into the machine’s wires like the other plasmas without a CPC port like @fortifyfabworks says.
Ok… so if I order the machine torch then it should work with the port…? Thank you for taking the time…
