Hi There,
Looking for help using Convertio conversion from PNG file from Fireshare to SVG or dxf file types.
The conversion process goes as planned, but when I look for it in my downloads folder, it shows up as an HTML file.
Any suggestions appreciated.
I don’t believe someone meant to only share the png in their submission to Fireshare. That sounds like an oversight. Perhaps message the author of that submission.
Thanks for offering some information, Jim.
It seems that SVG files are displayed as Microsoft Edge HTML files in the File Explorer of Windows 11.
If you click on View in the folder where the SVG file is located, then go to bottom and select Show it brings up a menu on which you can select show file name extensions.
it still shows up as associated with an HTML document but the extension then shows as SVG.
In the “old” internet explorer the file extension of SVG showed correctly, but Internet Explorer is no longer in use by most.
You can go through the process of associating the SVG file extension with another program besides Microsoft Edge.
Hope this helps anyone else confused on this issue.
