Continuous fire to the next cut

Broke the crossfire in and it performed very well. So I set up a piece of metal squared it up, anchored it down. Cut two B’s out stencil font. About 6””. Cut one okay but when it went to the second one the plasma didn’t shut off. Just wondering if it told it to? So I cut another pattern. It cut a 1/4” hole went to the 2” hole then to another 1” hole, torch didn’t shut off. Happened one more time, three in all. Any ideas??

Hi @logstackers It sounds like your plasma may be set to 4T cutting mode instead of 2T. There is typically a button or toggle switch on the front of the most plasma cutters that allows you to select the cutting mode. What plasma cutter are you using?

Razorweld 45 that I got with the package.

I think the Razorweld 45 defaults to 4t when new, I messed up my first part too then remembered the various posts I read about that here.

May be a minor thing. I went out and turned it on. It had the bottom light on. I guess that is T4. When I push the arrow button both lights light up. Is that T2? Diagram shows bottom light off???

Correct you want the top light on for 2T

Think like this: In 4T you can squeeze and release and it keeps firing the torch until you squeeze and release the trigger again.

In 2T it fires while the trigger is squeezed. and that is the manner (logic) the CrossFire uses to fire the torch. Fire while squeezed.
