Connecting the torch firing wires from the Crossfire to the Razorcut 45

I have watched the video on connecting the torch to the Crossfire but the only reference it makes to connecting the torch wire is if you haven’t done so, to connect it. Where in the Razorcut 45 do the two leads need to be connected? I do not want to fry the electronics by connecting it wrong.

Better to just follow the written instructions, the videos go to fast.

If you follow the written version just as it layedout you won’t have an issue.

I have the 45 also.

Open the link above look for plasma cutter wiring…
Where you see the wires coming out of the cutter after your done with the splice I JUST RAN the two wires through a larger wire splice connector just as a conduit. Then taped around that area to prevent it from moving the side of the 45 case when you bolt it all back together sits on that and not right on the wires.
The case doesn’t closed tight anyway in that area even just the wires I doubt would ever pinch.

You have to open up the case and tap into the trigger wires - they were the top two on the torch cable connectors on my RW 45.

There are posts here on how to open the case as well as how to identify the trigger wires. They include taps in the parts bags to make the connections. They actually include 3 different sizes for different wire gauges. I used the 2 small ones. I also fed them through the slots in the front panel so they didn’t get pinched by the cover.
