Combining sketch's in Fusion

After some reflection and some time going over the sketch with the “measuring tool”, and trying to get rid of widths less than .120 wide, I think this finally sunk in.

Are you saying that there is no real point in “double cut lines” that are only 90 thou. wide?

Or something else.

BTW here is the f3d file…

I just tried it and it generated a Tool Path with a 0.9mm (0.035") kerf with setting I use for 18 gauge. But yeah, those dimensions on the worm are really tight. If it were me, I’d rotate the worm, say 45 degrees, and increase the scale on him. You have a lot of un-used space there. You’d just need to move the hook attachment point.

As the commercials say, “Your results may vary”.

You have done a lot of work on that! It looks promising. I see the bridges of metal are at least over .1 inches.

What I would do is copy just the worm part, put it in a separate sketch to cut out by itself. It would not use up too much metal and you can see if it will hold together sufficiently.

How do you post it so that the picture shows up on the forum?

If you have a screen capture program like Windows Snip, you capture the area you want to share and then simply do [CTRL][V] in the window in the forum that you are editing.

Otherwise you just upload any image using the same upload icon that you use for sharing any file. Find where the image is stored on your computer and select.

Hmmm…Sorry Jim, I did not word that question well.

How do you get the picture to look like this

Instead of this (with all the dots)

I extruded…that sounds like a bodily function!

I created a body in Fusion.

Creating a body does help you see the narrow pieces of material.

Just in case… if you are just asking how to see the sketch without all the points, constraints, dimensions, etc. there is a menu at the right of the screen/work area that maybe you haven’t ever unhidden. You can check and uncheck what you want to be visible on your sketch.
