I will try and explain this the best I can on the first round. I first drew the logo over a canvas. I wanted to add so I inserted a second canvas for the solar panel and drew it. I dragged the solar panel along with the box over the logo but cant get it to extrude properly. How do I combine the two?

Open one sketch,
select all vectors,
copy them (right click copy).
Close the sketch (just Ctrl Z - you don’t have to ‘finish sketch’),
Open the other sketch.
Paste. This will copy the other vectors on top of the current sketch. You can move and rotate to align the two sets.
Press ok.
Then you are free to join the two sets of vectors as appropriate.
