Call Everlast. With that information you definitely had a cutter issue. I was not aware it had been working. Sorry.
No worries. I did email them with the new info. I figure by doing the in jumper that’s by-passing Langmuir. But also disconnecting everything and pulling the hand trigger should also be as good as test. Thanks for all the guidance! I’ll post back
Good luck my friend ![]()

If the machine torch was pilot arcing then the hand torch will also. You should have these settings on the plasma cutter. Lock off, Tip saver, post flow 20, 65psi with air flowing from the torch. Also check the fuse.
Like I said, if you want me to walk you through testing it give me a call.
Thank you @mechanic416 !! George was very kind in helping me via over the phone ![]()
Turns out it was a bad electrode. After swapping the torches I was using the same electrode. Even after trying a couple of new electrodes, they were bad as well. So moral of the story, buy good quality consumables ![]()
Thanks again @mechanic416 and everyone else!!
For anyone else in the future reading this, be sure to read @mechanic416 website and knowledge sections.
Old George is the man. Grumpy but the best. ![]()

This is a perfect example of not buying cheap shit for consumables—no Amazon, Plasmadyn, Chinese crap, etc. let’s review. A sheet of steel costs $200 min, causing a loss of your valuable time and not to mention aggravation—both yours and ours.
George sells the good stuff at a great price. He ships the stuff fast; most importantly, he is here for your troubles. I will say this. He forgot more about plasma than anyone I know of knows. He is grumpy but so am I.

Oh boy, where have I heard that song before???

and very helpful too! Not to mention sells quality stuff. But, still, @Bigdaddy2166 is right, he certainly is one of the Best Grumpies!
