CNC Machine Display Stuck on Black Screen

Hi everyone,

Iam having a serious issue with my CNC machine’s display. When I turn the machine on, the screen stays completely black screen, and I cannot see any menus or controls.

The machine itself seems to be running fine I can hear the fans and motors but the display is totally unresponsive.

I have already tried power cycling the machine, checking all cable connections, and even testing a different monitor, but nothing seems to work.

Iam not sure if this is a hardware failure, a software issue, or something wrong with the graphics controller.

Has anyone encountered this before? Any troubleshooting steps or solutions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

We need additional information. What type of CNC do you have? What kind of computer are you using? Has it worked properly before? Have you attempted to use a different computer?

Windows computers can display a black screen for numerous reasons, but a common cause is a Windows update. Has your computer tried to update before this issue occurred?
