So I am working on a DXF file that I downloaded from the internet, I get to 2D cutting tab and am selecting the lines or “chains” and most of the interior lines are fine, however the outside line of full picture can’t be selected. It’s like it just will allow me to select points on the lines. Hopefully that makes sense. Anyway, any ideas of what I need to do to fix this?

I am having the same issue. Did you find a way to resolve this?
I basically had to go in and see where the lines where broken and then draw new lines to connect them. They are usually pretty small so you have to be zoomed in quite a ways. It was a little time consuming but it worked. Hope that helps.
Thank you for your response. I checked mine and they all appear to be connected when super zoomed in. I started with a normal rectangle and then used the “fillet” feature to take off the sharp corners. Not sure what it causing it to not let me select them all but I will get it figured out. Super noob over here, but that is how I learn.
Just before going in to CAM, draw a box around the entire piece and select “fix/unfix” twice. This has fixed the problem for me before. Essentially makes the design one piece.

There is a script you can add into Fusion to take care of any broken lines called ConnectTheDots. Once the script is installed it just takes a few clicks to take care of this.
