It’s an old machine that ran on Mach3. A driver board was bad so Langmuir said I had to upgrade to Firecontrol and sold me a new enclosure.
where does the IHS port run to ?
There isn’t anything connected to the IHS or THC ports on the box
Thought I’d update, we’ve made some progress. I made a few calls to Langmuir’s support desk and the guys I spoke to were very patient with me. One of the things we did was upload the latest version of fire control, 24.1.3 Beta, I think. After that the green light was still on, so I made another call. This time the guy asked me to look at the G-code for a G38 command, it wasn’t there. He said it should cut, so I tried it and it did! The green light is still there but I can cut, as long as there is no G38 or Z axis commands. My post processor is set up without THC so anything I draw should work ok. Thanks for all the help you guys gave me over the past few days!

Glad you got it to work. That green light will always be on, because the circuit is open without an IHS switch attached to it.
