Hi I am trying to cut 22 Ga mild steel with my Hypertherm 45xp on the crossfire pro and I was wondering it I can cut slower than the 150 in/min at 30 amps. I am using a hand torch without finecut consumables.
Why would you want to?it will warp bad and probably lose arc. Just recently cut 22 ga. I had decent cuts at 20 amp with standard consumables and 300 ipm.

OK Thanks. I am hoping to cut out a few custom keychains tonight. I will try it at 20 amps and 300 ipm.
It will still warps some if you have THC will help. My 65 only went down to 20 amps could have cut faster as well. I also did like a .4 or .3 pierce
