Well, I wanted to dimple the pan drains but didn’t want to wait to order a dimple die set. But for those that need to save a few bucks, I used the hydraulic pump hole cutter from HF Tools.

Nice job. If you don’t have that tool here’s another option. I think I posted this in another thread, but I did something similar with a 3/4" bolt and a couple old bearing races. The tape around the bolt is to keep it centered in the hole. Takes a bit of muscle but big wrenches help.

Damn man. I have that die set too. I would have loved to go that route instead of van stone flanges. It does drain fast though. But I really don’t need it to.

Looks like that bolt washer got the worst of that deal and I’m not going to ask what happened to the bearing race…
