Had a problem with torch not firing by hand. Opened up the torch head to see if there’s any problems. When I put it back together and broke these pogo pin heads off. I’m guessing this is a switch that makes the circuit when the end is screwed all the way in. Could I just bypass this switch by soldering the wires together?
If those are the prongs that make contact with the retaining cap, then yeah just connect them.
Keep in mind you’ll be removing a safety feature as it prevents the torch from being fired if the retaining cap was left uninstalled.
Not like I’d have the plasma cutter on anyway if I’m disassembling anything.

Yeah I ended up soldering the 2 wires. Running like a champ again.
