I am absolutely impressed with Hypertherm copper plus electrodes. Here are pictures of one I just finished using. I have a hard time throwing it in tht scrap bucket although it has done its due. I wonder if the sync cartridge can even come close? It would be nice to see the nozzles keep up.

Wow, that electrode looks like mine when I’m at about 600 pierces or so as I’m swapping them out at the 1,200 pierce mark give or take.
I never ran a Sync, but I know my friend was always getting over 2,000 pierces with each cartridge. He’d shoot me over screenshots of his pierce count and run time and I was always impressed. They do come at a higher cost though so I don’t know if it’s a better value or just a wash (too lazy to do the math).
May have to give Copper Plus a try once I run out of electrodes.

they cost a little more than standard but i think they are worth it. Hypertherm says double life as long as you stay under 1/2.
that was cutting 1/4 at 45 amps. i am currently doing a run at 65 amps. i will finish this sheet today if it keeps raining.

Here is another electrode that has 1518 pierces with 2 hour and 15 minutes torch on time at 65 amps.
