are they any good and what do yall think about modded/upgraded torches that interchange if there better? i just bought the XR with a Everlast 102i and will do semi high production 1/2’’ cuts every month 1000 pieces at a time per month
The question would be, where did you purchase your torch (if you’re curious about it being genuine or not). @mechanic416 is a Tecmo dealer I believe and he can tell you if the place you purchased it is an authorized retailer or not.
Real Italian-made Tecmo torches will serve you well. Then again, there are TONS of Chinese copies that do very well in the CNC world so really you should have absolutely zero concern about anything.
Some of us will do over 1,000 pierces in a single day, without issue (myself included).
One thing to watch would be with the duty cycle on the machine and the duty cycle torch can sometimes differ. The torch will often have a lower duty cycle than the plasma unit itself.
thank you! it was all bought from amazon thru everlast’s website and it was labeled itm-100 Italian made

PowerPlasma 102i – CNC Plasma Cutter with Blowback Start, 100 Amp Output - Amazon.com
this is where i got the setup from…
The title of your thread says “Italian made” but the Amazon ad says “Italian-designed”. As KwikFab said, if it’s made elsewhere (China for ex) doesn’t necessarily mean it won’t meet your needs.
If it came with the Everlast machine from the factory, it is the Chinese version. George will know.
