Arcflat accessories

When I go in to look at Arcflat accessories I can seem to click on anything to see any close ups or detail. what am I missing?

I have the same problem. It appears only to allow you to add to a new machine or table order. I just emailed Langmuir, and I get the stuff in two days if FedEx doesn’t lose it for a week.

Fireball tools website is how it should be. Pics, details, Etc

The only thing I find odd with their accessory offering is the lack of ball lock pins. Selling all these different adjustable stops, but no real way to lock them in place properly.

Just ordered some from another vendor to fit some table accessories I made myself. Most of the tools on their site are detailed already?

Not sure what your asking?

Sorry, I meant to ask what details were ya looking for regarding their accessories?

I can see all the info needed if I were buying any, just sucks they don’t offer ball lock pins but my guess is due to the lack of any chamfering done to the holes underneath.

We’ll see if the ball lock pins work as they arrive tomorrow - the other vendor being Texas Metal Works. I bought 4 of them for some table extensions I made myself.

You would have to go to fireball tool and see how their stuff is done and then you know what I was talking about

You’re probably referring to these sort of details, which I can agree with that Langmuir should have for sure.

Even though I have Fireball tools, I stopped supporting them over a year and a half ago. Fuck those guys. Deceptive practices, silencing consumers that comment on their forum or Youtube videos, etc.

Also, why the heck do the Layout blocks not include the thread pins? That would suck ordering some only to miss the small detail and have them arrive with no way to use them.

I thought fireballs come with pins and Langmuirs dont

Fireball does - Langmuir doesn’t.

Buy the pins (8 total for $20) and now your cost per complete block is the same as Fireball Tool.

Between both brands, I’ll support Langmuir over Fireball Tool but Langmuir definitely needs to revise their accessories offered like you said, whether it’s more pictures and detail (I think most items are fine as is), and maybe making them a little less than another competitor.

May just buy a few of Langmuir’s goodies just to try them out.

What were you looking to buy yourself that you don’t already own?

Layout blocks is all Langmuir has that I don’t have already

Handy for sure, great stops

Did the ball lock pins work?

Funny you ask, because they just arrived.

Let me post pics in just a second…

Small fixture is 1/4” thick while the table extensions are 3/16” thick.

I’ve got PrimeWeld fixture tables but they’re identical to Langmuir fixtures; both the 3/16” and 1/4” thick parts can be securely fastened by the TMW ball lock pins on both the top as well as the sides.

Although you can see how tight it gets with the 1/4” part being up on top.

Nice thing is, ball bearings are cheap and easy to replace in these ball lock pins as I assume they’ll get pretty messed up with constant use due to the rough cast iron finish underneath.

Sounds good, Thanks for the info.
