You’re referring to the Blade, right?
Yea , seem like a Chinese scam to me. Did you read that you have 30 days to file a return claim, then 14 days to ship it back. So that’s only 45 days well under the 100 days. Have you shipped anything back to China lately it will cost more then the item they are counting on you not returning it.
What caught my attention is the ad says it is a “Winner of 2023” so I searched for who gave the honor?
Here is AI response:
That seems a bit fishy to me. Plus they have a timer going to try to get me to react before the time is up. And to prompt me for action even further “There are only a few left.”
So I say do one or the other: Give me a time limit for the sale or tell me there is a shortage of supplies. They are trying everything.
But I like George’s comment: If you have ship it back, it will be more costly than the item.
I would try one but they are only 4" in diameter.
I’m a 5 " man. Haha
ok im not getting one Thanks for talking me out of it, i need to quit buying stuff
I’m not judging but giggling quietly at the size of your monster truck.
LOL…he walked right into that one, didn’t he?
I sure hope the TRUMP administration does something about all these Chinese scammers. The cutting disc scam at 16.90 is not bad. I just got scammed a few weeks ago from a add like that from a company named Colosen. They were selling over stock Carhartt coats at about 1/2 price. I checked the add and it didn’t say it was from China but I didn’t dig into it as it was all over the internet. So I picked out a coat put it in the cart and paid for it. Then I got the paid email and there was a shipping charge that was not any were on the site. Then I found out it was shipping from China I know then it was a scam. Sent 2 emails trying to cancel the sale but did not get any replays. I saved the emails I sent in a file. When the item showed up it was to be a XL it said XL in side on the tag but will not fit a chubby 8 year old and its not a Carhartt. Called my CC and filed a claim. A few days later they asked me to forward the emails I sent and when I went to the file it was empty, were the he11 did the emails go. Any way my CC has been still working on it but I know I will end up paying for it anyway.
I am normally good at spotting these scams but they got me on this one.
Sorry that happened, pal; China and Indonesia are the biggest culprits. One of my employees bought a Generac generator 1/2 price from a legit-looking US site named John Mower Supply. Luckily, he used PayPal. They even had a fake shipping company that said it had made it to NY.
Of course, it never got delivered. Paypal reimbursed him within days. He google mapped the address in Indonesia, and it was a photocopy storefront. He sent that Google map to PayPal, and they handled it.
I am only out about 90 bucks, but what bothers me is were the emails went from my computer, how did they delete them. I even contacted my cloud to try and find them as well as my anti virus company. That is what bugs me the most.
The world’s full of these scumbags. They rarely get caught to. Everyone has got an angle on the internet.
I got some of these grinding discs to try the other day after seeing a review showing how fast they remove material (the guy claimed 5x faster, which I think I can agree is about right):
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0BHNKBLGT
They are super fast compared to a standard grinding disc, but don’t last nearly as long. If your biggest concern is time they’re worth it. I don’t know if I’ll go back to the normal discs when I use these up.
That’s a red flag right there.
If something seems too good to be true, it usually is. He is fortunate to have received his money back. PayPal mentioned they have had multiple complaints about Johns Mower Service prior to this incident. My question is, if they were aware that this was a scam, why do they continue to process purchases on their website?
Interesting. I replaced my Generator last December and I remember seeing Johns Mower Service when I searched for availability. I am VERY glad that I went to the same outfit I bought the previous one from. Whew!
I have a 24 kW generator at home. I purchased mine from our electrical supply store, and we love it. Not a single regret.
They even hijacked a Japanese shipping company website called Nippon Exp. The kid called them with the fake tracking number, and they told him that he had been duped.
