It sounds like you have a line on figuring out if it’s gonna work for you. I’ve used these a lot with really soft material and it works fine for light cleaning. It’s very dependent on the media you use They also tend to work much better on small parts at least in my experience. I do know some big commercial shops that use them with the triangle media for a lot of small parts with great success.

I’m not entirely sure what you mean by cleaning. But The vibratory units do work very well for polishing.

I appreciate the feed back, I was not sure what to expect. So I sent a few parts to Phillip and he ran them through his set up and is sending them back so I can get a idea of what to expect.

In talking with him He suggested I try Tig welding the parts, which in the past I thought would be to slow, but stupid me never thought about what it might save me in clean up.

So next batch I will try that as a solution to the clean up

@Knick I was thinking today another option for welding you could possibly do a dual shield flux core. That’s what we do our heavy welding with at work. We use Hobart excel-71. It is a flux core wire that is run with shielding gas. Setup right there really isn’t any splatter with it. Of course it is a overkill for your parts. Certainly faster that tig.

Oh parts was slated to deliver tomorrow last I checked.

I think I will try tig first and see how that goes, I appreciate your help!

I am curious is it just 75-25 mix or something special?

We run 75-25. You can do straight argon or CO2 as well .

It runs hot you would need to do testing. I wish I that thought about it before I shipped your package. I would have ran a few beads on a piece and sent it to you.
