If you have your shop ready, I think you can do the build in one day…one full day. If I had to build another one, it would go much faster. Totally worth the wait.
Here are a few add on items some of you may be interested in. The first 2 things are longer power wires for the monitor, computer, and the power unit for the table itself. I personally don’t like using extension cords if I don’t have to, so these cables were available in 10’ lengths, which was perfect to reach my outlet. The other item is a multi USB port. The computer only has 2 USB ports which get filled from the table and the wireless Remote. I needed another port for my thumb drive, so this was a simple solution. I simply double sided taped it to the computer underneath the monitor. Hope it helps some of you. Remember you will need (2) of the small barrel connector plugs.
Thanks. Just ordered the power cord.
I agree on the hub. For those that are planning on loading files from a flash drive as opposed to from the cloud (email, google drive, fireshare, etc), a small USB hub is nearly a must have.
I’m on the final step to be done and ready to cut. And it looks like you can’t just take your razor weld off the crossfire pro and put on the XR. The torch on and off is a different cable attachment now. I left two voicemails to Langmuir so I’m waiting on a call back.
Folks that have a RW45 that was purchased prior to the release of the XR have two options as far as torch firing goes. The first option is to cut the barrel connector off your existing torch fire cable and splice on the GX12 aviation connector that was supplied in the torch firing baggy that came in your XR crate. The polarity isn’t important.
The second option is to purchase the new cable from us which will connect an old Razorweld to the XR electronics box.
Also from the directions from old razor weld the two front connectors on the razorweld are opposite then what the XR is saying. Did they flip those connectors?
In the past we have received Razorweld units from Jasic that had the arc voltage and torch fire ports reversed.
For your case, which ever one current fires the torch is the one that you want to splice the new connector pigtail onto.
If you have a plasma cutter — that can be modified and you know how to do it, also it needs to have the cutting capacity you need for your projects.
If in doubght Order the plasma cutter from Langmire. or you will not be happy
sorry that was supos to post on a different post

I can hardly wait to start cutting. and I hope to record and post a real time unpacking, assembly and first cut,
My XR was delivered today. Unloaded at home with a forklift. Had to run home on my lunch to get it unloaded so I haven’t had time to open the boxes.
so whats the highest order number anyone has seen so far be fulfilled? @langmuir-daniel
I received email yesterday for 2867x
paid yesterday, 28750
@langmuir-daniel @langmuirsystems how’s the shipping process going…? do you foresee any more logistical problems in procuring missing parts (i.e.- tubes) to keep the shipments rolling out? any updates on when batch 2 units might start shipping out now that things have started moving along?
I’m not sure how they could forsee tubes getting stuck in customs for almost 2 months. Or their supplier being unable to get steel (because it continues to be a shortage and climb above all time highs). Or any other component being stuck on a ship unable to unload for 2-3 months. Or no truck (or drivers) being able to pick it up from the port to deliver…. I work for a large Tier 1 / 2 auto supplier, and we don’t know on a weekly basis if we are going to get material or make enough parts for the OEMs. Suppliers (ours and us) can make all the promises in the world, but if stuff doesn’t show up to us, we can’t supply them. The whole supply chain is in an emergency state right now, and at literal risk of collapsing - causing ripple effects we can’t imagine in today’s world.
oh trust me I by no means at all blame @langmuirsystems . I know our entire country is a logistical nightmare right now. just curious if there were any updates… thats all.
Paid this morning #29964
Can the balance be paid off before it is ready to ship? Just curious if I can still write this off my taxes this year.
