@langmuir-sam Apparently I need a replacement oil tank. As well as I am going to the same epdm gasket mod route thanks to @AUminer.
However, my issue might be caused by a somehow loosened return port of
relief valve and a pool of oil everywhere. So @langmuir-sam can you also send an additional barb fitting set so I can mod the lid to separate the return lines as @AUminer did?
It’s a tedious and messy job, but it’s the only way to get rid of the oil leaks. A gallon of pure Isopropyl alcohol is your new best friend. I wonder how many machines were shipped out with tanks like this? My machine was delivered in Jan, so I assume there are quite a few.
Pretty sure mine is this way based on the slow collection of oil I get on the lower shelf. I’ve just been too scared of what I’ll find to dig into it. Once I have a chunk of free time to spend cursing and oily I’ll take a look at what it looks like under the hood.
My return line popped off as well. It sucks, oil everywhere.
