Anyone out there try using angle iron instead of the slats provided . I have a whole bin full of stainless angle getting tossed at work , I just forget how high the ones I have at home are …
The price sounds good! The slats are 1/8" by 2 inches. I will go check. If I don’t write back in 3 minutes, those are the correct dimensions.

Ya these babies are 2” tall , 1/4” thick

1/4 inch, in my opinion, is not ideal since that is where most of the gnarly dross seems to collect but if they don’t work out there there is always some other project like stiffening the backside of signs.

The angle iron might reduce some of the splash since the air stream will be redirected along the 45 degree slope into the water, instead of hitting it at a 90.
