About the Introductions category

Hello! My name is Hunter. I’m a mechanical engineering undergraduate student in South Dakota. I have a summer internship where a small company wants me to help them develop brackets to reduce time they spend on each project hand making them. This is my first time with a Langmuir systems CNC machine so be ready for me to ask a ton of questions!

Good afternoon. I am new to this and wondering if anyone in the Des Moines area is using one of these machines that I can come see and learn from?

Hi
Alex in California. I picked up a used Crossfire and I’m hoping to get help while I set it up. I have already benefitted from reading a bunch of helpful posts on the forum. Glad to be here and thanks in advance!

Hello Everyone!
A newbie here in Charleston SC.
As I don’t like going to a “party” (aka this forum) empty handed, I thought that I would share a copy of the RAZOR 45 Cut Sheet that I received yesterday from JASIC Technologies America Inc.

Side note… If anyone is the Charleston area, would like to meet and compare Crossfire pro notes, let me know

Looking forward to learning from the wealth of knowledge shared on this forum.

Hello, I’m a retired firefighter/paramedic from north central Alabama. I am currently putting my CrossFire Pro together after ordering it a week ago.
I am new to using a plasma table and looking forward to putting it use on a lot of projects.

Hello all. 53M in Oklahoma south of OKC. I was a mechanic/fabricator/welder in my earlier life. The last 20 years spent running an ecommerce business where I did all my own graphics editing, web design and IT stuff. Also spent a couple years in a R&D department building manufacturing machines and test equipment. Worked with manual lathes, mills etc. Zero CNC experience LOL But I am opening a business out of my home shop doing fabrication, welding and custom signs. I think my experience with fabrication and tech will make a good blend…or at least good enough for me to figure out the XR that is now sitting in my shop  Good to meet everyone. Been reading for a month or so…will post more when I have enough knowledge to not say something stupid LO Hutch

Greeting metal cutters!

My name is Tim, I have been playing with metal, welding, cutting and bending and making things since I was probably 10 or 12 years old, at that point under my dads supervision of course. Anyway I have been retired for three and half years, after I retired I bought a metal lathe and milling machine, I have been having lots of fun with those. I’m currently rebuilding/customizing a 1969 Bronco, it’s moving along kind of slow as I keep buying new toys to play with. I don’t have a plasma cutting table yet, I bought a CrossFire table during the Black Friday deals and plane on buying the rest of the goodies for it including a new Razorweld 45 after the first of the year.
