any advice/insight on amps/speeds uzing razorct 45?TIA
Hello, I cut 1/4" aluminum plate with the RazorCut 45. 75psi, 40<45 amps, 45<50 ipm. Depends on T type of metal. I cut 6065 T6. Cuts real nice. Be sure to use new consumables’. You will be able to cut faster with 1/8" and maybe turn amps down a little. I use air only to cut…
P.S. I use 0.7sec. pierce delay and the lead in is about 1/3 of cutting feed rate. Takes a little more to heat the material.
