Why would langmuir send 1/4 lock nuts for 8-32 bolts?
Does seem weird. Maybe they misunderstood your request?

new machine. Instead of sending 8-32 nuts for the lead screw install, they sent 10-24. Bag even says 10-24. There are no 10-24 screws in the entire build.
Lots of issues with my unit. All QC related. Holes stripped or incorrectly tapped in mounting plates, missing bolts, bearings not smooth. Really disappointed. Have email in to support. Ready to return unit.
