Does anybody configure different kerf settings in the tool library for each nozzle size (.6,.8,.9 etc)?
Was thinking about setting that up since I picked up some .6 tips.
Have I been missing this the whole time or just gtting OCD about things…
I mean there is a dif in size, esp .6 to .9 but had never thought of this being an issue before…
I use one size nozzle but the kerf varies on different gauges of steel.
So, in the same regards yes I do.
Edit: Thats not true i have regular and finecut nozzles. Still answer is yes./\

I have set up my tool library for all the different thicknesses with kerf. In the hypertherm manual they give the feeds and kerf for each thickness so I built my library to match.

I do the same thing John does. Setup my tool Library for different thicknesses of metal. That way I can set it and forget it when it comes to the feeds and speeds.
